KAREN LYNN PARTAK, 17g

Sue is attending Northern Illinois University at Dekalb. She is majoring in Art and hopes to be an illustrator in wild life. Karen, a graduate of Ottawa High School, attained National Honor Society.

In 1982 Linda started a new job; Court Clerk to the Chief Judge. Her greatest challenge has been to raise children during the violent sixties, the drug crazed seventies and seeing an adult and teen-age daughter bloom into very nice, well-adjusted people. "This has been my greatest pleasure and most important accomplishment."

Oct 2005 Linda left us to spend eternity with her loved ones who had went ahead.

SANDRA JEANNE "JEANNIE" HELLE, the third daughter of Gail and Mary Bernice (Barler) Helle, most vividly recalls the birth of her little brother when she was ten years old, ". . . having a boy after three girls was quite ajoy for all of us. We were all delighted, let me tell you." At a younger age, about eight years old, she had the privilege of riding with her father in his semi-truck. He was smoking a cigar and Jeannie asked if she could have a puff. Of course, he refused but she kept insisting until he finally let her take a puff: "I took more than just a puff. I think I turned green because I finally climbed back in the bunk and thought I was going to lose my stomach. To this day I hate cigars and every time I smell one I think of my Dad and what a trick he pull-ed on me but what a hard lesson I had to learn. He was a great man and I will always admire him for his great talent for raising kids. He was one in a million.

At age eighteen Jeannie married HOWARD JAMES

GEBHARDT. Howard served a tour of duty in the United States Army and during that time Jeannie accompanied him while he served in Germany which she recalls as very beautiful. Jeannie and Howard have four daughters:
