Well I watched the next century arrive, then went on to bed. No partying for this old gal.....
As we continue to share all of our experiences, stories and memories, I have another one concerning angels that I am going to share........
I was praying as I went to sleep one night, which is when I get the visions. This vision really alarmed me. I saw my middle son, Robbie, going over an embankment on his motorcycle. Sometimes the visions are only a snapshot like picture. This one was a moving image. He flew over the embankment and lay in a ditch. As I had promised God after the experience with my sisters son, I wasn't about to ignore this. I began to pray for my son' s safety. I received the thoughts that there was nothing I could do to prevent this from occurring. Then I saw a circle of angels, completely surrounding my son as he lay in the ditch. They were above him, floating in the air, holding hands in a circle around him.
Well after praying for his safety, I went on to sleep, trusting in God and his angels to help my son. Actually, I put this out of my mind afterwards. I went on the next three days not worried or concerned, but comforted that all would be ok. As it happened on the third day, I awoke in the morning with unusually high spirits. I was singing as I took my shower and got ready for work. But the song I was singing was one that I had gotten for my grandchildren on cassette tape. It was of a children's choir singing little religious songs. "Angels watching over me my Lord, Angels watching over me...All day, all night Angels watching over me." I felt light hearted and at peace. I mention this as I am not normally this high spirited in the mornings. And I don't recall any other time that I sang as I got ready for work.
As it turned out, at midnight the previous night, my son Rob, had driven his motorcycle over an embankment and was unconscious in a ditch all night long. He managed to come to off and on through the night and try to climb out of the ditch, but as he told later, he kept passing out again. It was noon the next day, (noon of the same morning I had woke with this song), that he finally managed to escape by climbing up the embankment. Once to the top he passed out again, but he lay at the side of the road, where he was found. He had a paralyzed arm from a nerve being pulled from his neck as he hit a tree. He had a severe head injury and was sent to Rockford Illinois to the head trauma center. He was in a coma for several weeks. He has a permanent paralyzed arm, but he recovered otherwise. He eventually worked at this arm until it is now controlled by muscles, as the nerves are gone. He is a truck driver today.
